Barbari bread

popular Traditional Persian Barbari Bread is flatbread with crust and delicious texture. It is better to eat this bread hot and right out of the oven and it is the most favored bread for breakfast or tea parties in the evening. The best combination with this delicious bread is tomato, cucumber, and cheese.



Ingredients Qt
Yeast  2 tbsp
Flour  2 glass
Lukewarm water  1 glass
Sugar  1 tsp
Salt  1 tsp
Melted butter  1/4 glass
Oil  2tbsp          
Wheat bran  ½ glass




Step 1: At first, we want to prepare yeast.

Mix sugar with lukewarm water and add yeast.

Put it aside for 15 minutes.



Step 2: Pour melted butter in a bowl.

Add yeast and flour to the butter and stir.

Pour some wheat bran and stir well.

Repeat stirring to make it hard dough.

Pour wheat barn enough and don’t make dough sticky.



Step 3: Put dough in a warm place for 1 hour.

Pour some wheat bran to kneading surface.

Place paste on the surface and open it.


Step 4: Then put the dough in a baking dish and season some wheat barn.

Rub some yolk on paste and dressing with sesame.

Preheat the oven in 265 C and let it bake for 30 minutes.

Hi Liberty,

I noticed you liking a few of my posts today and wanted to just pop in to see what you do and say thanks. I did try your Contact page at first but it does appear to be pretty broken, on my browser anyway.

Glad you enjoy my stuff, I followed yours too although I’d have to convert the measurements to do anything! I’m writing at the moment but will be back to explore further later on.
