Persian Havij polo(Rice and carrots) Recipe

If you like sweet dishes and carrots, then you should try Havij polo which is an original and yummy Iranian food. Nutritious and sweet – Persian style rice steamed with carrots. Persian Havij polo(Rice and carrots) Recipe is one of the old Iranian mixed pilafs that is usually cooked with darker orange carrots to make the food look more colorful. Ingredients Qt
Sliced carrot  2 glasses
Shredding chicken  2 glasses
Cooked rice  3 glasses
Brewed saffron  half of cup



Step 1: Pour half of the rice in a pot then add carrots and mix with rice.


Step 2: Add shred chicken. Pour half of the rice and mix all ingredients together. chicken can make this dish so delicious.

Step 3: Pour brewed saffron and stir.

Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

the carrots and rice should be cook enough. wait to be ready and serve this dish with yogurt or salad. this food is low calories and won’t make you fat.
