Stuffed grape leaves are very popular Iran. Persian grape leaves are usually stuffed with minced beef and rice. I have always loved stuffed grape leaves and have fond memories of my grandmother making huge pots of it.
|Cooked rice||1/2 glass|
|Cooked split peas||1/4 glass|
|Flavor vegetable||1/4 glass|
|Fried onion||1 tbsp|
|Minced meat||150 gr|
|Grape leaf||100 gr|
|Salt and turmeric||the required amount|
Step 1: Pour oil in a pan, chop onions and put in a pan with minced meat and start to saute.
Step 2: Add rice, vegetables and split. Stir and saute well.
Step 3: Place 1tbsp of the meat and rice mixture on the top of the leaf and close the leaf sides.
Step 4: Let it cook for 1 hour on medium heat.
