Today shakshuka recipe is simple and true to Lebanese flavors. Eggs poached in a perfectly spiced vegetarian stew of tomatoes and green peppers. Add a salad and your favorite bread, and you can turn it into dinner!
|Minced tomato||3 pcs|
|Olive oil||2 tbsp|
|Minced onion||1 pcs|
|Minced garlic||2 cloves|
|Salt and pepper||required amount|
Step 1: Heat oil in a large pan. Add the tomatoes and sauté over medium heat translucent. Add garlic, onion and spices. Then stir in the tomato paste and sauté for another 2 minutes.
Step 2: Crack the eggs into the tomato mixture. Cover and simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
You can use parsley for garnish.
