The Best Delicious Turkish Pocha Recipe

These delicious cheesy poacha are a favorite breakfast or tea time treat in Turkey and we love them. They are easy to make at home; make your kitchen smell heavenly and they are very popular with children, as well as adults. Bakeries, street stalls sell freshly baked poacha in Turkey and with a glass of cay aside, they make a delicious and affordable breakfast or tea time treat.

 

Ingredients

For paste

Ingredients Qt
Warm milk  one and half of glass
Oil  1 glass
Flour  6/5 glass
Sugar powder  1/5 tbsp
Egg  1 pcs
Liquid paste  20 gr

For inside paste

Ingredients Qt
Cream cheese  100 gr
Mint  100 gr
Scallion  100 gr
Salt and pepper the required amount

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Preparation

Step 1: Mix liquid paste, milk and sugar and put in dish with a door for 10minutes.

After 10 minutes, add other ingredients and knead.

Cover it for an hour and place it in warm place.

Mix cream cheese with scallion and mint.

Knead the paste.

 

Step 2: Put a small amount of your filling in the center. Fold the circle in half over the filling so the edges come together and pinch them closed very gently or you can roll it.

 

Step 3: Spread yolk on the past. Preheat the oven in 180degree C and let it cook for 30minutes. Garnish with olive and ketchup.
