High-Protein Lebanese Lentil Soup Recipe

This high-protein, high flavor sweet potato and lentil soup will fill you up and make you feel great! High-Protein Lebanese Lentil Soup Recipe

This is a popular, healthy lentil dish that can be found all over the Middle East.

 

Ingredients

Ingredients Qt
Lentil  100 gr
Beet  100 gr
Fried and minced potatoes  1 pcs
Turmeric  1 tbsp
Onion  1 pcs
Garlic  2 cloves
Olive oil the required amount
Tomato paste  1 tbsp
Lime  2 pcs
Spinach  150 gr
Water  2 glasses

Preparation

Step 1: Heat oil in large pot, when oil is very hot, add onions and garlic and stir until onions begin to turn dark brown and caramelize, about 10 minutes.

Step 2: Put potatoes, tomato paste, lentil and spinach into the pot.

 

Step 3: Pour 2 glass of water.

 

Let it cook for 30minutes in medium heat.

Where are the beets and sweet potatoes? I couldn’t see them added.
